The Library in Just2easy allows teachers to store and organise resources for easy access and sharing with colleagues or pupils. You can add your own materials—such as documents, presentations, videos, and interactive files—so that they’re available whenever you need them.

Adding Resources to the Library

  1. Log in to Just2easy via j2e.com.
  2. Open the Library - Click on the Library tile to open your personal or school-wide resource collection.
    HWB users do not have a library tile. Click here to find out more information on how to add a library tile if you are a HWB school

  3. Click the My Resources tab
  4. Click the "add a resource" button
  5. Name your resource
  6. Upload a Resource by clicking the "add student attachment" button
    • Select the file(s) you want to upload from your device. Supported file types include PDFs, images, videos, audio, and Just2easy-created files (e.g., j2write, j2data, j2create).
    • You can add multiple files from your MyFiles. Click the tick to attach the file/s
      You can adjust how the file is accessed: click edit, then select task - template (for the activity to be opened in view mode), Task - activity (for the activity to be opened in edit mode) or example (for the activity to be read only)
  7. Add required details - add :
    1. A title
    2. Intended activity age (you can select multiple age groups)
    3. Instructions for pupils to follow
    4. Subject tags
    5. Language (handy if creating resources in other languages
  8. Optional details - consider adding
    1. Audio instructions (particularly useful for younger learners or those with literacy difficulties such as EAL pupils)
    2. Teacher notes - these can be handy for giving other teacher's a context or explanation of how you see the resource being used, for example that the resource can be printed
    3. Teacher attachments, such as a marking scheme or success criteria (if you have one)
    4. Tags to help when searching for example "back to school" , KS1 or SEND
  9. Save and Confirm - Click Save activity. Your resource is now available in your Library.


Tips for Using the Library

  • Quick Access in Lessons: Add frequently used lesson materials to the Library so they’re ready to launch from your J2launchpad.

  • Collaborative Sharing: Once added into the library ALL teachers in your school will be able to access the resource, without having to share



Publishing a resource for all teachers in Just2easy 


If you’ve created a useful resource—like a j2create file, template, or lesson—you can publish it so that all teachers in your school can access it through the Library.


We have thousands of teachers using the Just2easy site, many of whom will likely find your resource helpful.


We encourage teachers to consider publishing their content to the Community Library, which allows other schools to benefit from your resource as well.



  1. Open the resource from you "my resources" area
  2. Click the publish button
  3. Click continue on the pop-up
