QR code login cards allow pupils to easily sign into Just2easy without typing usernames or passwords. This is especially useful for younger learners or shared devices. 


Creating QR code login cards for a whole class

  1. Log into your Just2easy account click the j2dashboard (this can now be found in the Teacher's area)

  2. Open the classes tab

  3. Click the QR code button

  4. Use the drop down menu to choose the class for whom you want to create QR code login cards.

  5.  Look for the Generate QR Code Login Cards button  and click it.

  6. Click the "Generate user login codes". Just2easy will create a printable PDF file containing each selected pupil’s QR code.

  7. Click the Print button to print the QR code cards. You can cut them out and distribute them to your pupils.


Generating QR codes for an individual


  1. Log in to Just2easy and go to your j2dashboard.(found in the Teacher's area)

  2. Navigate to the Manage Users tab.

  3. Locate the pupil for whom you want to generate a QR code.

  4. Select the checkbox next to their name/s (this can be done for multiple users at the same time).

  5. Click the Generate QR Code Login Card button.

  6. Select "Generate user login codes" button. A PDF will be created containing the pupil’s unique QR code/s.

  7. Print and share the QR code card with the pupil/s.


Important Notes

  • QR code login is only for pupils.

  • Each QR code is unique and should be kept safe.

  • If pupil login details change (including password resets), regenerate new QR codes and reprint the cards. You can find more information here

  • Make sure devices can scan QR codes (most modern devices can).


Using the QR Code to log in


To login, pupils simply open their device camera or QR code scanner app, scan their unique QR code, then tap the link that appears. This will log them into their Just2easy account automatically.
