QR codes and email invitations for the Parent Portal can be revoked at any time, whether they have already been scanned and registered or remain unused. This feature helps schools maintain control over access and ensures that sensitive pupil data remains secure, allowing staff to quickly withdraw access if contact details change or if a code is shared unintentionally.
Log in to your Just2easy teacher account.
Navigate to the j2dashboard (which can be found in the Teacher's area)
Click the parents/carers tab
Use the drop down menu to select the class the student belongs to
Locate the student whose parent invite or account you need to manage.
Under Invited column, find the active QR code or email invite
Click Revoke Access (Red x) to remove access
Note: Revoked invites/QR codes can no longer be used. New ones can be issued at any time if needed.
You may need to revoke access for a parent account once they are registered (e.g. if their contact details change or for safeguarding concerns). You can find more information below:
