Accessing Pupil Work in Just2easy
Accessing the work your pupils create is quick and simple
Option 1: Through the J2launchpad
Log in to Just2easy
Click on the "Pupil Files" tile from the J2launchpad
Select the relevant class to view individual pupil folders and their saved work
Option 2: Through MyFiles
Navigate to your MyFiles area
Access pupil folders and view any work they have saved
Understanding Pupil Class Folders
Pupils are organised into class folders
Green folders represent registration classes
Purple folders represent teaching classes
Each pupil can belong to only one registration class
Pupils can be part of multiple teaching classes
To view classes, use the radio buttons at the top of the page to switch between:
All classes
Just the classes you are part of ("My classes")
By clicking on a class, you will be able to see all pupils within that class:
Viewing and Interacting with Pupil Work
The number in the corner of each folder shows how many files a pupil has created
Each folder displays the pupil’s j2stars avatar
A red speech bubble appears if the pupil has made comments via the Learning Conversations feature, as shown on Harry’s folder (above)
By clicking on a pupil’s folder, you can:
See their work
Access their files
Leave comments on their work
Learning Conversations / Feedback
Click on the file thumbnail to open the pupil’s work
In some tools (e.g., j2create), you can write feedback directly within the file, such as using a different coloured text to add comments in the margins
To start a two-way learning conversation:
From the Pupil Files area, hover over the work file
Click the speech bubble icon that appear
Within the learning conversation, you can:
Give a quick thumbs up
Mark or grade work
Add written or audio feedback
Attach related documents or pictures
Notifications appear on both the MyFiles tile and the work file whenever a comment is made:
The speech bubble stays red until the comment is viewed
Only you and the pupil can see the learning conversation — it is private and cannot be shared with other users
Learning conversations are linked to the specific piece of work; if the work is deleted, the conversation will be deleted too
