Sometimes the wide range of tools available on the Just2easy launchpad can feel overwhelming for pupils, especially younger learners. In some cases, a tool might not yet be appropriate for the age group you’re teaching.

To keep things simple and focused, you can hide/remove unnecessary tools from a pupil’s launchpad. Don’t worry – these tools can be reinstated instantly at any time, in real time.

How to remove a tool:

  1. Log in to your teacher account.

  2. Open j2dashboard ( this can be found within the Teacher's area tile)

  3. Go to the "j2launch" tab in j2dashboard.

  4. Select the tool you wish to hide, and deselect for the relevant class/es.

    • Bonus: You can also hide tools for all pupils by clicking the checkbox next to your school name at the top of the tool list. This hides the tool on every pupil’s launchpad instantly.

The tool will instantly disappear from pupils’ launchpads, allowing you to create a simpler, age‑appropriate digital workspace – and you can bring it back at any time with just a click: simply follow the same process and tick the boxes to reinstate it.
