When adding learning content to j2journal, teachers can attach progression framework or j2review tags at the point of posting. You can find more information here.
However, there may be times when tagging needs to be done afterwards—such as when a pupil has added content that requires teacher moderation, or when tags were simply not applied during the initial post. In these cases, tags can easily be added retrospectively to ensure that all learning is linked to your progression framework and tracked effectively.
Open j2journal
From your launchpad, click on the j2journal tile and navigate to the class journal containing the entry you want to tag.Locate the Journal entry
Browse through the journal feed or search for the entry that needs tagging.Click the "edit button" (three dots) and select "edit j2review"
Click the "+" button and choose the Progression Framework, subject and level
A relevant framework should be available to you e.g Northern irish schools should see the CCEA framework, Scottish schools should see CfE framework, etc.
We are able to add additional/individual frameworks for schools and areas. Please contact support@j2e.com for more information
Click the exit button ("X" button top right) and click "ok" to save your changes
The tags will now be visible on the journal entry.
Tagged entries will also link to your j2review reporting, helping track learning progress across the school.
