Microphone
Microphone enables users to record sound files directly into their MyFiles area.
To get started, open microphone from the Launchpad.
Recording Audio
Microphone will open with a record button in the middle of the screen.
Press the button to start recording.
You may be asked for permission to access your microphone — this must be allowed for the tool to function.
A countdown from 3 will appear, after which recording begins.
Once you’ve finished, press the stop button.
Saving Your Recording
By default, recordings are saved to your own MyFiles.
To save to a different user’s area, click “Save To” and select the intended user.
Click Save to complete the process.
Your recording will now appear in MyFiles and can:Remain as an individual file, or
Be added into other Just2easy tools (e.g., j2create).
Microphone Permissions
It’s important to grant j2e permission to access your devices microphone.
On desktop:
A pop-up will appear — click Allow.
If permission was previously denied, click the microphone icon in the address bar to change settings to Allow.
On tablets or iPads:
Permission must be granted on first use.
If denied, go into device settings to enable microphone access for j2e.
