Creating Interactive Surveys and Forms in j2create
j2create allows you to create interactive content to collect user opinions and generate informative results.
Adding a Form
Open a j2create file and add any relevant information or instructions.
Click the Forms button.
Choose the form field that matches the type of information you want to collect:
Checkbox – multiple selections allowed
Radio Button – one selection from multiple options
Text Box – single line of text
Text Area – multi-line response
Drop List – dropdown menu of editable answers
Placing Form Fields
After selecting a form field, it will float on the page.
Click anywhere to place it.
A Send button will also appear—this is required to submit the form. Place it near the end of your quiz, survey, or questionnaire.
Customising Form Fields
Checkboxes and Radio Buttons:
Click the default label (e.g., “checkbox”) to rename it.
Press Enter to confirm the new label.
Add as many as needed for your question.
Text Boxes:
Allow users to enter a short text response.
After placing, a submenu appears on the right to configure data requirements.
Text Areas:
Enable longer, multi-line responses.
Edit the text area settings from the submenu on the right.
Drop Lists:
Add a dropdown selection of answers.
After placing, use the submenu to enter all answer options—press Return after each one.
