Enriching Your j2create Documents with Multimedia
j2create allows you to enhance your documents with videos, sound, effects, tables, and charts.
Embedding a Video
From MyFiles:
Navigate to your video in MyFiles.
Click the green i icon and select Share.
Ensure the video is shared with the intended users.
Click Embed at the bottom of the share screen and copy the embed code.
From a Video Streaming Site:
Many sites (e.g., YouTube) provide an embed code via the Share button.
Click Share → Embed, then copy the code.
Adding the Video to j2create:
Open your j2create file.
Click the Multimedia button (top of the page) and select Video/Sound/Embed.
Paste your embed code and click OK.
Move and resize your video using the blue handles.
Note: Videos do not play in edit mode. Click View (top left) to play.
Recording Sound
Click Multimedia → Record Sound.
Allow microphone access if prompted.
Use the red record button to start and the black stop button to finish.
Play back using the triangle play button.
Click Add to Page when happy with the recording.
Adding Sound to a Picture
Add a picture and select it with the Select tool.
Click Multimedia → Record Sound.
Record your audio, then click Add to Selection.
In View mode, clicking the picture will play the sound.
Adding Effects to Photos
Click Multimedia → Take Picture.
Allow webcam access or choose an image via Access MyFiles.
Apply visual effects using thumbnails on the right.
Use the slider to adjust effect strength.
Undo or Reset to Original if needed.
Click Add to Page to use the edited picture.
Adding Tables and Charts
Adding a Table:
Click the Table button and choose your number of rows and columns.
Position and place the table on your page.
Enter your data directly into the cells.
Editing Your Table:
Double-click a row or column to open the table menu.
Adjust colours or add rows/columns using the options provided.
Creating Charts:
Click the first cell of your table (top-left).
Click the Chart button.
Choose your chart format and click OK.
Repeat for multiple charts if needed.
